Celtic & Knotwork
Celtic leather stamps — knotwork, braids, spirals and crosses — for belts, wallets, journals and sheaths. Our Celtic knot stamps run from single-strike motifs to continuous border repeats, each a brass head on a stainless handle cut for clean, interlaced impressions on cased vegetable-tanned leather. For border knots, scribe a straight guide line and overlap each strike so the interlace joins without a break.

Questions
Will these work on my leather?
Vegetable-tanned, lightly cased — damp to the touch, not wet. Use 3 mm leather or thicker. On thinner leather you will need a backing scrap underneath, or the pattern will distort the back.
Chrome-tanned leather will not hold an impression at all — it springs back.
Do I need a press, or is a mallet enough?
A mallet is enough for most of our stamps. Use a heavy poly or rawhide mallet rather than a light one — weight does the work, so you do not have to swing hard.
Work on something solid. A granite slab under the leather makes far more difference than most people expect.
Which stamps repeat into a continuous pattern?
Borders, basketweave and the all-over textures are designed to tile — each impression seats into the last so the pattern grows without a visible join. Single motifs are meant to stand alone.
How long until my stamp arrives?
Making it: 2-5 business days. Every stamp is cut to order in our workshop — nothing sits on a shelf waiting.
Getting it to you: usually two to three weeks by tracked post to the US and most of Europe. Checkout shows a real delivery window in business days for whichever service you pick.
Who makes them?
We do — a small family workshop in Novi Sad, Serbia. The designs are drawn here, the brass is milled here on our own machines, and every tool is finished by hand before it goes in the box.
