About Us

We are a small family workshop in Novi Sad, Serbia. It started as a hobby — metal stamps for jewellery, design stamps for leather — and turned into the thing we do all day.

Everything is drawn here and milled here, on our own machines. A stamp begins as a drawing, becomes a brass head cut from one solid piece, gets fitted to a stainless steel handle 110 mm long, and is finished by hand before it goes in the box. We are not a reseller putting our name on someone else's tools, which is why the stamp you reorder in September is the same tool you bought in January.

The catalogue runs to around 750 designs now: borders and corners, basketweave, Celtic knotwork, animals, skulls, florals, geometrics, textures. Mirko cuts them. Because we make our own tooling, a design that isn't in the catalogue is a normal job rather than a special favour — send a sketch and we'll quote you.

We use brass because it machines to a finer edge than harder metals, which is what lets a design hold its detail at 15 mm across. It also doesn't rust, and that matters more than it sounds: leather is cased damp before stamping, so the tool is wet every time you pick it up.

We have been selling online since 2019, first on Etsy and now here. We answer our own email, Monday to Friday, at info@stampleather.co.
