Custom Leather Stamps
We machine custom leather stamps from your logo, maker's mark, initials or artwork — a solid brass head on a stainless steel handle, cut in our own workshop in Novi Sad. The same tools we make for our 700-design catalogue, cut to your drawing instead of ours.
Sizes and pricing
| Size | Design fits within | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 23mm (7/8") | $85 |
| Medium | 35mm (1 3/8") | $110 |
| Large | 50mm (2") | $145 |
That is the price of the finished stamp. It includes redrawing your artwork for machining, a digital proof, and one free revision — there is no separate setup or artwork fee.
How it works
- Order the size you need. Pick the size band your design fits inside and place the order.
- Send your artwork. Any clear image works — a logo file, a photo of a business card, even a pencil sketch. Vector or high-resolution PNG is welcome but not required, because we redraw everything for machining regardless.
- Approve the proof. We send a digital proof before anything is cut, so you see the design as it will be machined. One revision is included.
- We cut it. CNC-milled from solid brass stock, then hand-finished and fitted to a stainless handle.
- It ships. Roughly two weeks with standard shipping, or 5–8 days with FedEx Express.
What makes good artwork
Bold, solid shapes reproduce best. Very fine hairlines and very small lettering are where a stamp starts to struggle — leather is a fibrous surface and it will not hold detail finer than the fibres themselves, no matter how precisely the brass is cut.
You do not have to work this out yourself. Send the artwork before you order if you would rather be sure: email info@stampleather.co and we will tell you honestly what will and will not read at the size you want. If a design needs simplifying, we will say so at the proof stage rather than cut something that disappoints you.
Why brass, and why milled rather than cast
Casting softens detail at the edges; milling holds it. That is the whole reason we cut every stamp from solid stock instead of moulding it — fine interlace and lettering still read after hundreds of strikes.
Brass also will not rust, which matters more than it sounds: leather is cased damp before stamping, so the tool is wet every time you use it.
Turnaround, honestly
Every stamp is made to order, so nothing ships from a shelf. Production takes 2–5 working days once you approve the proof, and the parcel then travels from Serbia. Standard shipping to the US is around two weeks in total; FedEx Express is 5–8 days. We would rather tell you that up front than surprise you at checkout.
If something is wrong with it
Because a custom stamp is cut to your artwork and cannot be resold, custom work is final sale. But if a stamp arrives faulty, or does not match the proof you approved, we remake it free. The proof exists precisely so that neither of us is guessing.
What people use them for
